DO YOU HAVE A COMMUNITY IDEA OR PROJECT? DO YOU WANT SOME MONEY?
WHY PITCH FOR MONEY AT SOUP?
ADVICE FOR PITCHING
APPLY TO PITCH FOR MONEY
SOUP provides micro grants created by the local community to support projects that help the community.
Typically these are between £250 and £1,000 towards the costs of your project.
You have 4 minutes to stand up and convince a crowd of people that your idea or project deserves their money. Its as simple as that!
After your Pitch, the audience gets to ask you 4 questions about your project.
Three or four projects are selected for each SOUP event and the first step is to complete a simple application form by clicking on the APPLY button.
Do you have a foodie project in Poole that needs some community crowdfunding support? We are looking for projects that use food to support people, create community, build skills and confidence. This could include:
- A multicultural supper club
- A project turning waste food into delicious things (eg: bread beer, foraged jams)
- A foraging project, teaching people about locally grown food
- A public community allotment gathering neighbours together
- A neighbourhood who want to share fruit tree produce raising money for an apple press
